Line Service Technician (Entry-Level) - General Aviation FBO ACE Aviation Center Ann Arbor, MI Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Moving Groundskeeping Ramps High school diploma or GED Driver's License Aviation Full Job Description Position Overview ACE Aviation Center is seeking an entry-level Line Service Technician to support daily operations on our general aviation ramp. This is a hands-on, physically active position for someone who wants to build real aviation experience working directly around aircraft at a professional FBO. Previous aviation experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Key Responsibilities Aircraft Ground Handling Park arriving and departing aircraft and position chocks and safety cones Tow aircraft in and out of hangars Assist with aircraft repositioning on the ramp Fueling Operations Operate fuel trucks and/or fuel cabinets Refuel aircraft in accordance with established procedures and safety standards Process credit card payments for fuel Maintain accurate records of daily fuel sales Customer Service Greet and assist pilots, aircraft owners, and passengers Answer basic questions and direct customers to appropriate services Represent ACE Aviation Center in a professional, friendly manner Facilities & Grounds Perform light facility cleaning and basic groundskeeping Help keep ramp, hangar, and customer areas clean, organized, and safe Teamwork & Communication Work as part of a small, tight-knit team Follow instructions clearly and communicate issues or concerns promptly What We're Looking For Genuine interest in aviation and working around aircraft Entry-level friendly: willing to learn and follow procedures Reliable and on time, with strong attention to safety Comfortable interacting with customers and staying professional under pressure Able to work a flexible schedule , including some evenings and weekends as needed Basic math and reading skills Minimum Requirements At least 18 years of age Valid U.S. driver's license Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions Able to lift, move, and handle equipment as part of normal ramp duties Able to reliably commute to Ann Arbor, MI 48108 Weekends required.
