Great Falls, MT We are currently seeking an experienced Lead A&P Mechanic for a contract opportunity supporting heavy aircraft maintenance in a commercial MRO environment. This role is ideal for experienced mechanics with strong leadership skills and extensive heavy maintenance experience on commercial or regional aircraft. Summary The Lead A&P Mechanic is responsible for leading maintenance teams while performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and scheduled heavy maintenance. This position ensures maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and support A&P mechanics during heavy maintenance activities Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions Remove, repair, install, and operationally check aircraft components Perform inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance data Read and interpret AMMs, IPCs, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals Coordinate daily work assignments to meet production schedules Mentor and assist less experienced technicians Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Leadership

  • Diagnoses and resolves aircraft maintenance discrepancies efficiently Summary of Education, Experience & Certification High School diploma or equivalent required.
