Updated 08/24/2026 Job Description Job Summary Join a leader in primary flight training and one of the largest flight schools on the East Coast! Our client has established a solid reputation as a world-class operation that places an emphasis on maintaining high standards across its flight training and maintenance business. Their fleet is maintained to exceed the highest mechanical standards and regulations, providing customers with well-maintained aircraft for training or personal use. This position will offer a day shift Monday through Friday, or 4-10s evening or weekend shift schedule. Responsibilities:
Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data, ensuring complete and proper documentation of work performed Provide professional aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards Work with parts personnel, the Director of Maintenance, and other staff to determine upcoming labor, parts, and supply needs Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, manufacturers' specifications, and company policy Ensure completion of required documentation, establishing compliance with company policies and procedures Complete skilled manual and technical work to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and engines Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Maintenance and other management personnel Requirements FAA A&P License required High school diploma or its equivalent IA Preferred but not required 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience on piston, turbo-prop, and/or light jets Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated without explicit consent of JSfirm, LLC.
