As a Seasonal De-Icing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and on-time departure of aircraft during winter conditions. Whether you're looking to gain experience in the aviation industry, return for another season, or earn extra income during the winter months, this is a flexible and impactful opportunity. Our technicians choose their shifts based on availability, making this role ideal for students, retirees, or anyone with a variable schedule. Key Responsibilities Safely operate de-icing trucks and equipment near aircraft under winter conditions Apply aircraft anti-icing/de-icing fluids in accordance with procedures and safety protocols Communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and dispatchers Follow airport regulations, security procedures, and safety guidelines Complete required logs and reports after each operation What You Bring Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions Valid driver's license required (airside license preferred or must be obtained upon hiring) Able to pass security clearance for airport operations (RAIC, SIDA, or equivalent) Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset Why Join Aeromag Competitive hourly wage ($19) Paid training and certification provided Flexible scheduling
