Aurora State Airport, Oregon Company Overview:
Sasquatch Aviation is growing, and we're looking for an experienced A&P to grow with us. We're a professional, team-oriented maintenance facility at Aurora State Airport focused on quality work, safety, and taking care of our customers and our people. We offer flexible scheduling, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to help shape a growing operation. Our current focus is light piston aircraft, and we are expanding into light turbine maintenance, aircraft management, and charter operations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience with an A&P license.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and inspection on aircraft Follow all FAA and manufacturer requirements Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed using our computer based maintenance tracking program Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality
Qualifications:
A minimum 5 years of experience as an
A&P FAA A&P
license Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail General computer literacy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a commitment to safety
Salary and Benefits:
Salary negotiable based on experience. $35-40/hr Tax-deferred retirement program with a 100% match up to 3% of salary Profit sharing Flexible work schedule 2 weeks of PTO, and additional week after a year
