In this role, you will serve as a knowledgeable guide, helping customers navigate our wide selection of products while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your energetic and friendly approach will foster a welcoming environment, making every visit memorable. Whether assisting with product recommendations or just plain answering general questions, you'll play a vital part in promoting responsible consumption and overall customer satisfaction. Duties Provide expert guidance to customers on cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Assist with merchandising and stocking to ensure an attractive and organized sales floor Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information remotely Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and age restrictions Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably within a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings if applicable Ability to perform product demos confidently while adhering to safety standards Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail best practices Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions Professional phone etiquette when engaging with customers over the phone or in person Join us in creating a memorable shopping experience where education meets enthusiasm!
