ENHANCED Posted 05/2026 Job Description Job Summary New Moon Aviation's Bend shop, located at the Bend Municipal Airport, is looking for an A&P Certified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The Bend location specializes in general aviation and turbine aircraft maintenance, providing high-quality service with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, experience with computer-based maintenance systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston and PT6 aircraft. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on various aircraft systems. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands and ensure smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers regarding maintenance needs and updates. Utilize computer systems for maintenance tracking, diagnostics, and documentation.

Location:
Bend Municipal Airport (KBDN) (Ability to commute required) Requirements A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Certification is required. PT6 experience Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must work well in a team environment. Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and maintenance tracking. Familiarity with FAA regulations and industry standards. Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
