Job Description

  • Part-Time Contract A&P Mechanic
  • Charleston, SC Ketchel Air is seeking an experienced
  • A&P Mechanic
  • for a
  • part-time contract position
  • with the potential to transition into a
  • full-time role
  • for the right candidate. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated mechanic who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced aviation environment.
  • Requirements:
  • Current A&P Certificate
  • Strong experience with
  • piston aircraft (required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must live in or near Charleston, SC
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Military aviation maintenance background preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Pay:
  • $40-$50 per hour

  • Flexible schedule
  • Will need reliable Transportation to drive to Walterboro Hangar
  • Work on a variety of
  • general aviation aircraft, including piston aircraft, turboprops, and business jets
