$62K/yr Updated 08/27/2026 Job Description Overview $62K/yr Job Summary Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Sheet Metal / Heavy Maintenance) We are seeking experienced aviation structures professionals for a long-term, direct hire opportunity supporting a well-established MRO specializing in heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft. Hourly Rate:
Up to $36.00/hour (DOE)Annual Earnings:
$100,000+ with overtime opportunitiesLicense Incentives:
- $2.00/hour per FAA license
- Earn up to an additional $4.00/hour for holding both A&P certifications

- Same shift options as above Key Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance, structural repairs, and inspections on commercial aircraft
- Complete sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, and component replacements
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structural discrepancies in accordance with FAA regulations
- Drill, rivet, form, and fit aircraft structural assemblies to specification
- Accurately document completed maintenance activities
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced MRO environment
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards at all times Tools
- Basic aviation toolset required Qualifications
- Aircraft structures or sheet metal experience within a heavy maintenance or MRO environment preferred
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structural repair techniques and blueprint interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
