About the Role As a Ground Support Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness of critical aviation infrastructure. You will be responsible for the diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance of a diverse fleet of motorized and non-motorized ground support equipment, ensuring that all systems meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, transmissions, and complex hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Ensure fleet reliability by conducting routine inspections and servicing equipment with necessary fluids and compressed air. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer technical manuals. Maintain accurate service logs and documentation to track repairs, parts usage, and equipment status. Execute bodywork and structural repairs on components such as towing hitches, bag carts, and conveyor systems. Collaborate with team members to uphold high safety standards and operational efficiency across the facility. Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of verified experience in mechanical maintenance. Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to provide your own professional-grade tools and toolbox. Proficiency in using electronic devices, including tablets and computers, for documentation and diagnostics. Capability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks such as crouching, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances. Preferred Skills Prior experience working in an aviation or airport environment. Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity.
