This position is awaiting contract award. The Aircraft Mechanic III- Egress serves as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for organizational-level (O-Level) maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of F/A-18 egress systems assigned to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Fort Worth, Texas In this senior leadership role, you will perform and oversee critical maintenance on ejection seats, escape systems, canopy jettison subsystems, and all associated explosive or ballistic devices.

aircraft at the O-Level. Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Physical Requirements Ability to safely handle, lift, or position heavy egress components up to 50 pounds. Stamina to stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and perform overhead mechanical rigging inside tight cockpits or confined workspaces.
