Job Description

Salary:
$19.66/hr. minimum Under general supervision, performs all flight line services to aircraft owners and operators. Leads, assigns, oversees and participates in the work of staff which welcome customers to the airport, City and perform a variety of aircraft service operations to include aircraft marshaling, parking, fueling, towing, crew and passenger assistance, rental car positioning, processing payment transactions, flight line equipment and fuel truck maintenance and minor repair functions, etc. Performs other related work as required. SUPERVISION
General supervision is provided by the FBO General Manager and Airport Manager. All behaviors comply with the Code of Conduct and Rules of Behavior outlined in Chapter 8 of the General Government Policies and Procedures Manual. Adheres to assigned work schedule as outlined in city and department attendance policies and procedures. Provides input and feedback to FBO General Manager regarding the completion of performance reviews of all line service staff. Leads, assigns, oversees and participates in the work of line service staff responsible for all line service functions. Assists in training staff on aircraft refueling operations, proper line service procedures, and maintains written training manuals. Safely services and fuels all types of aircraft and airport equipment. Marshalls aircraft on arrivals and departures, greets all pilots and passengers, assists passengers and crew with luggage, and positions customer vehicles and rental cars. Safely tows aircraft in/out of hangars and around various areas of the airport. Safely unloads fuel transport trucks updates inventory. Performs all necessary daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on fuel trucks and fuel farm equipment. Answers telephones and Unicom, respond to and direct customer inquiries, assists customers with other needs. Processes retail transactions and accept cash and issue change. Performs custodial duties in the terminal and aircraft hangars. Performs minor maintenance on airport equipment, vehicles, buildings, grounds, ramps and hangars; review major repair needs with supervisor and schedule repairs.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs any other duties and responsibilities as direct by the FBO General Manager and Airport Manager.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or
GED. EXPERIENCE
Must have one (1) year experience in line service duties. General building maintenance at a reliever or commercial service airport is desired.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to maintain a good driving record while employed. NATA Safety 1st Certification desired or ability to obtain within six months of hire date.
WORK SCHEDULE
