We are looking for experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble aircraft sheet metal and composite structural components. Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards. Perform inspections and maintain accurate documentation. Read and work from engineering drawings and production specifications.
Qualifications:
3+ years of heavy aviation structures sheet metal mechanic experience. Demonstrate skill level by successfully passing plate test. Ability to pass skills assessments - verbal, virtual and hands on. Experienced structural assembly, preferably on Boeing and Gulfstream products. Ability to follow written, electronic and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision. Read and understand blueprints. Ability to wear a respirator and other safety gear. Able to use a variety of fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work. Able to work from blueprints, sketches, work instructions. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Available to work 1st and/or 2nd shift after training and as required. Available to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekends.
