PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a respected leader in the aviation industry to hire a skilled RepairMod Tech Electrical Mechanic for an exciting opportunity supporting advanced military aircraft operations. If you're an experienced electrical mechanic who thrives in hands-on environments and takes pride in precision work, this is your chance to make an impact on mission-ready aircraft systems.

As a RepairMod Tech Electrical Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, upgrading, and modifying aircraft electrical systems to ensure peak performance, safety, and readiness. Your expertise will directly support aircraft reliability and operational success.

What You'll Do

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform on-aircraft and off-aircraft electrical modifications to wiring systems andponents

Completeplex connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optics

Route, seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses and cables to required standards

Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, retrofit requirements, and process specifications

Conduct installation, inspection, testing, repair, and modification of wire bundles and electrical assemblies

Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and environmental systems of moderateplexity

Perform bench testing, flight line operational testing, and system checkouts

Diagnose and correct malfunctions in assembly and maintenance processes

Use precision measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to ensure qualitypliance

Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned work areas in accordance with safety procedures

Assist in cross-functional work with mechanics, structures, and avionics teams to meet production goals

Train and mentor less senior team members as needed

Support changing schedules, overtime, weekends, and mission-critical timelines when required

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

4+ years of experience performing aircraft electrical maintenance, modification, or repair duties

4+ years of experience with electricalelectronic theories and systems

Ability to work rotating shifts including 1st and 2nd shift schedules based on business need

Ability to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX

Ability to pass required assessments during training

Strong ability to read and follow written, verbal, and technical instructions

Commitment to safety, quality, and reliable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with depot-level or aircraft modification maintenance environments

Experience operating forklifts, mobile cranes, or powered elevating equipment

Experience leading teams or mentoring junior mechanics

Familiarity with Hazardous Energy Lock Out-Tag Out systems

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms

Work in confined spaces

Lift up to 35 lbs regularly and assist with heavier team lifts when needed

Stand, walk, bend, crawl, squat, kneel, and reach overhead for extended periods

Use personal protective equipment as required

Pass visual acuity and color perception testing

Pay Details:

$43.05 per hour
