Job Description

Blue Skies Aviation is a full-service general aviation inspection, maintenance, and repair facility that has proudly served the aviation community for over 20 years. We specialize in servicing a wide variety of fixed-wing general aviation aircraft including Aerostar, Cessna (single and twin), Beechcraft (single and twin), Piper (single and twin), Mooney, and Citation aircraft. We're expanding and seeking two experienced, licensed A&P Technicians who are passionate about general aviation and committed to quality workmanship.
Position Summary:
As an A&P Technician at Blue Skies Aviation, you'll troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair general aviation aircraft with minimal supervision. You'll work in a supportive team environment that values precision, professionalism, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft. Troubleshoot engine and airframe issues independently. Perform mechanical/electrical removals, installations, inspections, and repairs. Complete and document work per FAA regulations and company procedures. Assist with component repair, engine removal/installation, and fuel/de-fuel operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area. Support off-site maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
Valid A&P License . 5+ years of recent experience on fixed-wing general aviation aircraft (not looking for rotorcraft experience). Proficient with Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Aerostar, Mooney, and similar platforms. Must own a complete set of hand tools and maintain control/inventory of tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Must be punctual, reliable, honest, and detail-oriented. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must pass a pre-employment drug test . Willingness to sign Non-Disclosure and Non-Compete Agreements .
