Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in Salt Lake City, Utah and Ogden, Utah. This contract-to-direct opportunity supports a growing fleet of turbine aircraft in a fast-paced maintenance environment where precision, safety, and reliability drive everything. Position Overview We are seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with A&P certification to support a mixed fleet of turbine and turboprop aircraft. This role is critical to maintaining fleet availability while ensuring all maintenance is performed to the highest safety and compliance standards. This is a strong opportunity for technicians who are comfortable working across multiple platforms, value accurate documentation, and want to be part of a team focused on execution and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft Troubleshoot mechanical and avionics discrepancies using sound judgment Complete all maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Accurately document maintenance actions using digital tracking systems Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, and Parts teams Support aircraft readiness and efficient turnaround times Provide maintenance support at primary bases and remote locations as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications

Education and Licensing:

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required Inspection Authorization preferred but not required OEM or factory training on turbine aircraft preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining turbine and or turboprop aircraft Strong understanding of FAA regulations including Part 135 operations

Skills and Attributes:
