Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic Perform heavy maintenance, structural repairs, and modifications on Gulfstream and Dash-8 aircraft. Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components while ensuring compliance with aviation standards, engineering specifications, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft structural repairs, modifications, and heavy maintenance. Fabricate and install sheet metal components. Shoot, buck, and remove rivets to specification. Read and interpret blueprints, work cards, and technical documents. Perform precise metal forming and bending operations. Assess and complete approved structural repairs. Collaborate with maintenance teams in an MRO environment. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. Requirements FAA Airframe or A&P license. 10+ years of aircraft sheet metal experience. Strong in aircraft fabrication, repairs, and modifications. Proficiency with riveting and sheet metal techniques. Ability to identify metal types, thicknesses, and structural properties. Experience in heavy maintenance and MRO environments. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Must possess required tools and toolbox management standards. Work Environment Hangar-based MRO facility. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
