Job Title:

A&P Mechanic Job Description Perform C checks and heavy maintenance on King Air 90s. This position involves traveling to and supporting the Edinburg, TX location to assist with its setup. Responsibilities Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are ready for operation. Read and interpret maintenance manuals and manufacturer publications and directives to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance. Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Read and interpret pilots' descriptions of problems to diagnose causes. Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand or power tools. Inventory and order supplies, parts, materials, and equipment. Check for corrosion, distortion, and cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail. Essential Skills A&P license 5 years of heavy maintenance or modification experience on aircraft Experience in MRO or Depot environment Ability to conduct C checks and D checks Additional Skills & Qualifications Must provide own tools Must be eligible for a Secret clearance Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bridgewater, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
