- 42/hr Job Summary Seeking an A&P Mechanic with demonstrated experience and ability to work on small, General Aviation aircraft such as Cessna 172's, Piper PA28-180's, Diamonds, Cirrus, and Grumman aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft components and systems
- Inspect aircraft structures, engines, and avionics systems for defects and troubleshoot as needed
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct tests with specialized equipment such as calipers, Ohmmeters, and Avionics test sets
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft components as required
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
- Perform 100hr and Progressive Inspections on General Aviation aircraft
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues to prevent future occurrences 45 Hour Work Week, 5 hours overtime weekly Monday
- Friday 8am-5:30 No nights No weekends No AOG calls Health, Dental, and Vision offered with employer paying 75% 4 paid Holidays 3 paid Sick days Requirements
- Recent experience working on General Aviation piston powered aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and engines
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment to maintain and repair aircraft
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
