Full-time Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. Having recent General Aviation experience is an
ABSOLUTE
requirement. If you have never worked on a Cessna 172, Piper Cherokee, Cirrus, or Diamond aircraft, do NOT apply. Please do not apply unless you have documented real-world experience working on the aircraft mentioned. Projects on them during school doesn't count. You will be asked to demonstrate a skill set during your interview.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft components and systems
  • Inspect aircraft structures, engines, and avionics systems for defects and troubleshoot as needed
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Conduct tests with specialized equipment such as calipers, Ohmmeters, and Avionics test sets
  • Assemble and disassemble aircraft components as required
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
  • Perform 100hr and Progressive Inspections on General Aviation aircraft
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues to prevent future occurrences
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic in the aviation industry
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Recent experience working on General Aviation aircraft
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and engines
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment to maintain and repair aircraft
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
