Candidates must have hands-on maintenance experience with the MH-53E and/or MH-60S aircraft. The ideal candidate will have direct experience performing airframe, structural, sheet-metal, and component maintenance on these platforms. This position involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft structures and related components to support safe and mission-ready aircraft. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting technical documentation and performing hands-on structural repairs using aircraft maintenance tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform airframe and structural maintenance on MH-53E and/or MH-60S aircraft. Inspect aircraft structures and components for damage, wear, corrosion, cracks, defects, and other discrepancies. Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structural deficiencies in accordance with applicable technical data and maintenance procedures. Repair, replace, modify, and rebuild aircraft structural components and assemblies. Perform sheet-metal repairs using appropriate aircraft maintenance tools and equipment. Work with aircraft skins, panels, frames, stringers, bulkheads, brackets, fittings, and other structural components as applicable to the aircraft. Use hand tools, power tools, drills, rivet guns, shears, sheet-metal brakes, and other aircraft structural maintenance equipment. Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, fitting, and other structural repair processes. Remove and replace damaged or worn structural components and associated hardware. Perform aircraft component removal and installation as required to facilitate structural repairs. Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical orders, engineering data, drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation. Perform inspections and maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data and established procedures. Assist with aircraft jacking, towing, and other maintenance operations as required. Accurately document maintenance actions and work performed in applicable aircraft maintenance records. Perform preflight, thru-flight, post-flight, and other inspections as assigned. Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following applicable aircraft maintenance and safety procedures. Required Qualifications Hands-on maintenance experience with the MH-53E and/or MH-60S aircraft. Airframe, structural, or sheet-metal aircraft maintenance experience. Demonstrated experience inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing aircraft structural components. Experience using aircraft maintenance hand tools, power tools, sheet-metal equipment, drills, rivet guns, and related equipment. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical orders, engineering data, drawings, and other technical documentation. Ability to accurately document maintenance performed in aircraft maintenance records. Ability to work effectively in a hands-on aircraft maintenance environment and follow established technical and safety procedures. Preferred Background Particularly relevant experience includes: MH-53E airframe or structures maintenance MH-60S airframe or structures maintenance Aircraft sheet-metal repair Structural component repair and replacement Aircraft corrosion inspection and repair Aircraft skin and panel repair Riveting and structural fastening Aircraft structural inspections Modification and repair of aircraft structures Military aviation maintenance FAA A&P certification is not required for this position. Military aircraft maintenance experience on the required aircraft platforms is directly applicable. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on aircraft maintainer who has worked directly on MH-53E and/or MH-60S aircraft and has a strong background in airframe, structures, and/or sheet-metal maintenance . Candidates who have spent the majority of their maintenance career working on aircraft structures, performing repairs, modifications, inspections, and component replacement are particularly encouraged to apply.

Pay:
