Job Description

As a Mechanic, GSE at Signature Aviation, you will keep critical ground support equipment operating safely and reliably for business and general aviation customers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair tugs, fuel trucks, belt loaders, and other GSE, handling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance, complete detailed service records, and strictly follow safety and environmental standards. Working closely with ramp and operations teams, you will support on-time flight operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused airport environment while benefiting from ongoing technical and safety training. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair ground support equipment (GSE) including tugs, fuel trucks, belt loaders, and de-icing units. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, safety checks, and equipment testing to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals. Document work performed, parts used, and maintenance history in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance procedures while working on ramp and in maintenance areas. Collaborate with operations and line service teams to prioritize repairs and support on-time flight operations. Maintain shop tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and service-ready condition. Participate in ongoing training on safety, equipment, and company procedures.
