Updated 08/26/2026 Job Description Job Summary Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic We are seeking experienced aviation maintenance professionals to join a reputable aviation operation in Northern, VA. This role supports heavy maintenance, aircraft modifications, and upgrades on Dash-8, King Air & Gulfstream platforms. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, competitive compensation, and strong potential for career growth within a mission-driven environment. Compensation & Benefits
    Hourly Rate:
    Up to $42.00/hour (DOE)
      Annual Earnings:
      Most contractors earn approximately $85,000.00-$100,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime
        Per Diem:
        Up to $45,760 annually (tax-free), based on $880.00/week Work Schedule
        • 5/8 Schedule
        • Monday-Friday (1st Shift)
        • Overtime available Key Responsibilities
        • Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, and aircraft modifications
        • Support structural repairs and avionics upgrades as required
        • Work on Dash-8 and King Air aircraft platforms
        • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards
        • Accurately document all completed maintenance actions Qualifications
        • Experience as an A&P Mechanic, Avionics Technician, or Structures Mechanic
        • Prior heavy maintenance or MRO experience preferred
        • Experience on Dash-8 and/or King Air aircraft is a strong plus
        • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
        • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Additional Details

        5-7 months with long-term potential
