Are you looking for a full-time, permanent job with a growing company? Vartan Aero is an aircraft product support service provider looking to hire mechanics with mechanical aptitude at our Everett, WA location where we provide support to Boeing and all the big-name customers onsite. Tasks:
Reading, understanding, and following engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions Communicating with multiple customers to actively report status updates both orally and in writing in a timely and professional manner Carrying out mechanical rework of non-conformities including installation and adjustment, part replacement, rigging, calibration, and modification Ensuring maintenance of a FOD free work environment including ongoing control of materials, tools, and general housekeeping Performing advanced techniques such as drilling, thread cutting, screw extraction, hollow rivet replacement, potted insert installation, and use of measuring tools Performing cosmetic rework of interior cabin components by cleaning, sanding, painting, filing, removing and replacing decorative laminate (declam), and cosmetic sealing Performing electrical rework such as bond and ground, resistance measurements, harness installation, and simple electrical troubleshooting Performing fillet, faying, injection, and cosmetic sealant applications on both interior and exterior components along with wet fastener installation Verifying and ordering parts and standards needed to complete rework as required Performing daily documentation of all work performed in internal database
Requirements:
Ability to work first shift schedule with shift flexibility, travel, and work OT Reliable transportation Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment Have high standards for your work Ability to clear a background check, drug screen, and obtain a Boeing badge and passport Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal software applications Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
Preferred Qualifications:
Have previous work experience or hobbies that show you are mechanically inclined OR general aviation maintenance experience with a high proficiency in complex hydraulic systems, passenger entry doors and cargo door systems Ability to use and understand CMMs/AMMs Have current A&P license
