Requires Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Prior experience working on general aviation airplanes a plus. Aviation Mechanic conducts troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on piston single and multi-engine airplanes. Works with a maintenance team of other A&P mechanics and an I.A. mechanic. Mechanics provide outstanding customer service and provides detailed accounting of the repair/maintenance needs of aircraft, sets realistic work completion dates and cost estimates, and works diligently to ensure on-time/on-budget completion of work. Pay depending on experience. Required Job Skills Possess and maintain FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Pass Drug/Alcohol Testing program Possess strong attention to detail and good work ethic Prior General Aviation maintenance experience preferred but not required.
