Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable aviation operation with consistent work, long-term potential, and a strong team environment. .We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics for an opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supporting heavy maintenance operations on Shorts 360 cargo aircraft. Candidates do not need previous Shorts 360 experience. We are looking for skilled A&P Mechanics with a strong heavy aircraft maintenance background who can bring their experience to the team and learn the platform.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, with a strong background performing inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, component replacements, and other heavy maintenance tasks in a hangar environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on Shorts 360 cargo aircraftComplete heavy maintenance tasks including aircraft inspections, system removals and installations, component replacements, and repairsTroubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, hydraulic, electrical, landing gear, and other aircraft systemsRead and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and other technical dataPerform aircraft inspections and identify discrepancies requiring repair or corrective actionEnsure all maintenance and repair work is properly documented in accordance with FAA regulations and company requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCollaborate with mechanics, leads, inspectors, and management to meet maintenance schedules and aircraft delivery requirementsFollow all company safety procedures, FAA regulations, and quality standards
Requirements
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License requiredMinimum 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience requiredHeavy aircraft maintenance experience requiredPrevious Shorts 360 experience is a plus but is not requiredAircraft-specific experience is not required; candidates with heavy maintenance experience on other aircraft platforms are encouraged to applyExperience performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component removals/installations, and other heavy maintenance tasksAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical data, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentsMust have own basic tools required for the positionAbility to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as neededMust be able to pass required pre-employment screeningsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and FAA compliance
