Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in technology and security systems. The Entry Level Technician will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including fiber optics and network installation, CCTV and surveillance equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while developing essential technical skills. Responsibilities Perform cabling tasks to ensure proper connectivity for security devices. Assist in the installation and configuration of security systems, including CCTV and surveillance equipment. Detect and troubleshoot issues related to computer networking and security systems. Support the team in building and maintaining mechanical and electrical components of security installations. Communicate with clients to provide updates on service requests and resolve any concerns. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Collaborate with senior technicians to enhance knowledge of industry standards and practices. Requirements Familiarity with cabling techniques for security systems is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to installation processes desired. Basic understanding of computer networking principles. Electrical knowledge or experience working with electrical components is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction. Ability to detect issues quickly and propose effective solutions. Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques in the field of security systems. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
