Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking an Access Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, electrical work, and computer networking. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be utilized to ensure the security and safety of our facilities.

Duties:

• Install and program access control devices, (Mag locks, contacts, door strikes, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair access control equipment
• Collaborate with team members on system upgrades and enhancements
• Provide technical support to end-users on system operation
• Document all work performed in accordance with company procedures

Requirements:

• Knowledge of NEC codes and standards
• Mechanical knowledge for system installation and maintenance
• Experience as a service technician or in field service roles
• Possession of relevant certificates in access control systems
• Proficiency in computer networking for system integration
• Strong electrical skills to handle wiring and connections
• Ability to detect and resolve system issues promptly
• Capability to build and configure access control systems efficiently
