Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire & sprinkler systems. This role involves overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring quality workmanship, adhering to safety regulations, and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees the daily workflow of the jobsite. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Lead and manage a team of sprinkler technicians and installers. Assign daily tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a productive and safe work environment. Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, including piping, valves, and sprinkler heads. Ensure all installations and maintenance activities adhere to local codes, regulations, and industry standards. Manage and coordinate sprinkler system projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation or maintenance process. Conduct inspections and quality checks on installed systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meeting design specifications. Implement and enforce quality control measures and best practices for sprinkler system installation and maintenance. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols and relevant codes and regulations (e.g., NFPA 13). Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during installations and maintenance work. Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving client concerns or issues in a professional manner. Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and quality service. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation reports, service logs, and equipment inventory. Prepare and submit reports on project progress, issues, and outcomes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Must have ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Must have working knowledge of all applicable NFPA standards. Must maintain valid driver's license and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report. CSA or

NICET II

preferred but not required. 10 hour or 30 hour OSHA is a plus. Must successfully pass random drug screening and background checks. Preferred Qualifications -

Education and Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years of verifiable industry experience. In addition to a regular work schedule, must be available to work occasional weekends, nights, and overtime. Demonstrate a clear understanding of installation of all types of systems including dry pipe, wet pipe, pre-action, deluge, foam, fire pumps, CPVC and standpipes. Must have working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Environment Job Requirements:

On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Must be able to lift 80 pounds at times. Job is performed at various job sites (indoor/outdoor) exposed to the elements. Ability to work in all conditions (Hot/Cold/Humid weather, Small/Cramped Quarters, etc.). Climb Ladders & Work on a Lift. Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment. Attention to Detail.
