Position Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Senior Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Technician. This role handles start-up, commissioning, AHJ inspection of clean agent systems and fire alarm systems.. The ideal candidate is dependable, code-focused, and comfortable working independently while supporting junior technicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, start-up and test fire alarm/suppression systems
• Diagnose system issues and complete efficient, accurate repairs
• Complete all required documentation
• Perform work in compliance with NFPA standards, and company procedures
• Perform final inspections with AHJ and commissioning entities
• Mentor junior technicians and provide field support when needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle - Regulatory compliance of

DOT Required Qualifications:

• Active CA Blue Card
• 5+ years of fire alarm and/or fire suppression experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, and local fire safety requirements
• Experience with fire alarm panels, devices, suppression systems, and related components
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience mentoring or training technicians
• Ability to program and commission fire alarm/suppression systems.
• Proficient with the use of a laptop
• Additional fire protection certifications or manufacturer training
