In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire suppression systems, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods, and emergency lights. Your expertise will help safeguard property and lives while supporting building code compliance and industry standards. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on roles, possess strong mechanical skills, and are eager to grow their technical knowledge in fire protection systems. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and service fire suppression equipment such as fire extinguishers and kitchen hoods. Conduct detailed inspections of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems. Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently. Ensure compliance with fire codes, NFPA standards and building code requirements during all phases of installation and maintenance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, safety procedures, and maintenance schedules clearly to clients. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, system modifications, and compliance documentation for audit purposes. Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise in fire suppression. Experience Hands-on experience with fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, and/or emergency lights. Knowledge of NFPA standards (National Fire Protection Association), fire codes and regulations applicable to various building types.
