Alarm Technician National Smart Home Fresno, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $1,500 - $4,000 a week 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining low-voltage electrical systems related to alarm and security products. This role involves providing excellent customer service while ensuring the proper setup and functionality of alarm systems across various job sites within the Central Valley. The Alarm Technician will work with a range of products, including 2GIG, Qolsys, Eufy, and other security solutions, requiring a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Install new alarm and security systems, including configuring devices such as 2GIG, Qolsys, Eufy products, and other low-voltage electrical systems. Service and maintain existing alarm accounts to ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and efficiently during installations and service calls. Travel to different job sites around the Central Valley using personal transportation, ensuring timely arrival and completion of projects. Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all installation and servicing activities. Troubleshoot system issues promptly and accurately to minimize downtime for clients. Document work performed accurately in accordance with company procedures. Experience Proven experience in installing low-voltage electrical systems, preferably in alarm or security system installations. Familiarity with popular alarm products such as 2GIG, Qolsys, Eufy, or similar brands is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Valid personal vehicle with reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites within the Central Valley area. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and adhere to safety guidelines. Prior experience in residential or commercial alarm system installation is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.
