Security Technician

Job Functions:

Install, terminate, and commission CCTV camera systems, Avigilon cameras and recorders, access control hardware, and intrusion detection devices. Configure and program Lenel access control platforms, Avigilon video management systems, and intrusion alarm panels. Troubleshoot and repair Lenel and Avigilon system faults, including access control reader issues, CCTV camera failures, and intrusion sensor malfunctions. Install cable infrastructure — j-hooks, cable racks, patch panels, and inner-duct — supporting CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems in hospitals, data centers, airports, and commercial facilities. Maintain accurate documentation including timesheets, commissioning checklists, and daily status updates to team leads.

Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience installing and programming CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and supporting low-voltage cabling. Experience with Lenel OnGuard and Avigilon Control Center strongly preferred. Certifications in Lenel, Avigilon, CCure, or Milestone are a strong plus. Must adhere to OSHA Safety Standards. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be available for 40+ hours per week.

Compensation & Benefits:

$28 - $36 per hour based on experience — Lenel and Avigilon certifications qualify for the upper end of the range. Pay:
