Location:
Murrieta, CA (Headquarters) - Travel required throughout
Southern California Schedule:

Role Overview We're seeking a motivated, self-starting Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining construction cameras and surveillance systems across Southern California. You'll work directly on active construction sites, ensuring reliable system performance while upholding safety standards. Drone operation experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain construction cameras and surveillance systems on active jobsites Run cabling, mount equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues in the field Safely operate ladders, lifts, and power tools to perform work at height Perform basic construction-related tasks using saws, drills, and hand tools Work with various construction materials and systems, including metals, network technology, and low-voltage wiring Manage equipment inventory, tools, and company vehicle Represent the company professionally with clients and site personnel Support occasional out-of-state installations and service trips Qualifications Accountability, self-motivation, high character, and responsibility are all paramount. Almost everything else can be taught to the right candidate (required) Hands-on experience with basic construction tasks, tools, and materials (required) Experience with low-voltage systems, cameras, or related networking equipment (preferred) Prior exposure to commercial construction jobsites (preferred) Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely work on ladders and at height (required) Strong troubleshooting skills (required) Much of the work occurs on ladders or rooftops, so the candidate must be familiar, comfortable, and prepared to work at heights. The candidate must work safely, be thoughtful, and be aware of their surroundings at all times Fall protection, Scissor lift, boom lift, ladder, first aid training completed with certificates (preferred) Be willing to learn, grow, and develop not only as an employee but as a human being (required) Valid driver's license with clean record (required) Comfortable traveling throughout Southern California, occasional overnight trips, and towing small trailers
Bonus:
Drone piloting experience (FAA Part 107 certification is a plus) What We Offer Full-time (minimum 30+ hours per week plus overtime as necessary) position starting at $25/hr. to $30/hr. depending on experience and qualifications. Company Vehicle, Phone, Tools and Safety Equipment for work-related activities are all provided by Gilman Construction Media. 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 3% and 50% employer match from 3% to 5%. Employer contributions vest immediately. 17 Paid Days Off - Starting at 10 Paid Days Off per year, increasing by 1 day per year up to 15 Paid days off per year, plus 7 paid Federal Holidays.
