We are looking for an experienced, senior-level Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our design department, with a defined path to take on the Lead Designer role within 2 to 3 years.

This is a succession-track hire:

we need someone who can carry a full design workload from day one and is capable of eventually owning the design department — managing production standards, mentoring junior designers, and serving as the primary point of design accountability on our larger and more technically demanding projects. Position Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on fire sprinkler design experience, with a track record of complete, hydraulically calculated commercial system designs Per

NFPA 13. NICET

Level III (Water-Based Systems Layout) preferred. Level II with a clear, demonstrated path to III will be considered; Level IV is a strong plus. Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage— required. HydraCAD (Hydratec) experience preferred; AutoSPRINK experience is acceptable. Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 24 as applicable, and the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination and clash detection. Comfortable interfacing directly with AHJs, fire marshals, general contractors, and field crews to resolve design and permitting issues. Demonstrated leadership potential or prior experience mentoring junior designers/detailers — this role is being hired with department leadership in mind, not as a standalone design seat.

What We Offer Compensation:

90 - 110K, commensurate with experience and NICET level, plus bonus.
