Security Technician TRL Systems, Inc - 3.5 Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Full-time $23 - $27 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description We are seeking a Security Technician to install and support commercial low voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion, and other life safety/security systems. This role is responsible for pulling cable, installing devices, terminating wiring, mounting equipment, reading construction drawings, and assisting with system installation under the direction of a Lead Technician or Foreman. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can safely use hand and power tools, understands basic construction practices, and is committed to delivering quality workmanship. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, communicate effectively with team members and customers, maintain a clean and safe job site, and accurately document completed work. Travel required to Los Angeles County and surrounding area 0-2 years of experience in commercial construction or low voltage installation; security system installation experience preferred. Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion, or related technologies. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment. Strong work ethic, customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in commercial construction environments. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed.
