We work on a wide array of projects including multi-family, commercial and utility scale solar. Summary We are seeking an experienced Alarm Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by installing and inspecting new electrical systems and completing repairs or upgrades on existing electrical systems. Responsibilities Install and maintain alarm systems in commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for system design. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes. Troubleshoot and repair alarm system issues Collaborate with clients, GC and inspectors Provide field service support for service calls Maintain accurate records of installations Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations through continuous education and training Qualifications Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and fire alarms. Proficiency in blueprint reading and system design. Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations. Knowledge of AC/DC theory Osha 10 Excellent communication skills Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch, throughout the day, for long and short periods of time. Regularly lift and raise objects from lower to higher position. Use fingers and hands in a repetitive and non-repetitive motion. Twisting, pinching, grasping tools. Extending arms in front of body, at shoulder level and above head.
