$35 - $45 per hour Job Details - We are in search of a Fire Alarm Install Lead who is passionate about safety and possesses exceptional technical skills. This role is integral to our field operations, ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations. Oversee a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure high-quality workmanship. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to plan and execute fire alarm system installations. Conduct thorough inspections and tests of installed systems, identifying any issues and implementing appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate records of all installation, repair, and maintenance work, providing regular reports to management. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in fire alarm technology and safety regulations, applying this knowledge to your work. Respond promptly and professionally to emergency call-outs, resolving issues efficiently to minimize risk. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of installation tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial fire alarm system installation, repair, and maintenance. Compliance Services and Assessments (CSA) and/or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET II) is required. Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of construction professionals. Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging conditions. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required. A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards. Familiarity with the use and maintenance of installation tools and equipment. Availability for emergency call-outs and occasional weekend work.
