Fire Alarm Licensed Service Technician Fire Protection Team - 2.6 Cheshire, CT Job Details Full-time $35 - $45 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Life insurance Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Electrical License Field service Customer service Driver's License Fire alarm system installation Low voltage Equipment testing Mechanical knowledge Fire alarm inspection Fire Alarm License Full Job Description The Fire Alarm Licensed Service Technician will effectively manage all tasks as instructed by the Fire Alarm Manager including, but not limited to: Conduct testing and inspections of fire alarm systems Make recommendations for both system installation and services Troubleshoot and complete repairs with minimal supervision Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices Maintain records by documenting installation, service and testing. Interact w/ clients to ensure the work is being completed properly and timely Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented. Provide technical customer service regarding Fire Safety systems including technical support during the installation and commissioning of new or expanded systems. Coordinate with contractors in the process of installation of systems. Perform system commissioning on systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary. Respond to and carry out to completion any troubleshooting to assigned custom systems during the installation phase of the system. Install fire alarm devices, panels, boards, power supplies, and associated wiring. Return equipment in need of repair or calibration to the office in a timely manner. Report daily on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action
