$25-$45/hr (Based on Experience & Licensing)
Schedule:
First Shift | Monday-Friday Position Overview We are seeking experienced Security, Access Control, and Fire Alarm Technicians to support commercial installation and service projects throughout the Danbury, CT area. This role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of low-voltage systems, including access control, burglar alarm, fire alarm, and CCTV systems. Both licensed and unlicensed technicians are encouraged to apply. Candidates with strong commercial low-voltage experience and a willingness to learn will be considered. Responsibilities Install, service, and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. Pull, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling. Install and configure field devices, including card readers, electric strikes, mag locks, motion detectors, keypads, cameras, and fire alarm devices. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings. Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Complete service calls, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with project managers and customers. Follow all job site safety procedures and company standards. Qualifications Experience installing or servicing commercial low-voltage systems. Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire alarm, or intrusion systems. Ability to pull and terminate low-voltage cabling. Comfortable reading blueprints and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Danbury office. Fire alarm or low-voltage licenses are a plus but not required .
