This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop your technical expertise, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Your expertise in low-voltage electrical systems, system design, and technical troubleshooting will ensure the safety and security of our customers' environments while fostering your professional growth. Duties Install, configure, and service low-voltage security systems including alarms, access control, CCTV surveillance, and fire alarm systems. Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately wire and integrate security components such as door security systems and surveillance equipment. Troubleshoot complex issues related to low-voltage wiring, equipment malfunction, or network connectivity using hand tools and power tools. Conduct system testing to ensure optimal performance of security infrastructure and perform remote access software configuration for system monitoring. Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs, provide technical troubleshooting support, and recommend system enhancements or upgrades. Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, system configurations, and service reports in compliance with industry standards. Support sales efforts by explaining system features to customers and assisting with alarm system sales opportunities. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician specializing in low-voltage security systems and fire alarms. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and cabling techniques. Familiarity with computer hardware setup, network configuration, remote access software, and telecommunication systems. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret construction plans related to security installations. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving; capable of explaining technical issues clearly to clients. Physical ability to perform installation tasks that involve climbing ladders, working at heights, or in confined spaces; valid driver's license preferred.
