Once the strategy is in place, we help communicate the changes and promote adoption among stakeholders. Job Description Assist in the installation of electrical equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. Install, configure, and test low-voltage security systems, including: Access Control
CCTV / IP
Video Surveillance Intrusion Detection Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Document work completed through service reports and project updates Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment Install and mount electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices. Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Reading contract drawings Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a field technician in low-voltage, security, or electrical systems Minimum two years of specialized vocational training or college-level coursework in electronics Strong understanding of wiring, electronics, and system integration Ability to read schematics and technical documentation Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Public Trust Clearance preferred Physical Job Requirements Candidates must be able to: Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and carry equipment up to 250 feet unassisted Safely use ladders and hand/power tools Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and tight spaces Tolerate dust, debris, and occasional unpleasant odors Stand or work on concrete or uneven surfaces for extended periods Additional Information Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
