Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead and oversee fire sprinkler installation, maintenance, and repair projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient setup of fire suppression systems that meet all safety standards and building codes. As a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and ensure all work complies with industry regulations, including NFPA standards and ASME codes. Your expertise will help safeguard lives and property through precise installation and diligent project management. Responsibilities Lead and supervise fire sprinkler installation teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to sprinkler systems, pipefitting, and pipe installation. Oversee the fabrication, assembly, pipe threading, tube bending, and welding of piping systems. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, NFPA standards, ASME codes & standards, and company safety protocols. Coordinate pipefitting activities including pipe threading, pipe welding, pipe installation, and system testing to ensure proper operation of sprinkler systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Conduct quality inspections of installed systems, troubleshoot issues with mechanical components or fabrication errors, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, construction plans, technical drawings, and interpret complex schematics related to sprinkler systems. Mechanical knowledge of piping systems including pipeline assembly and pipefitting procedures. Experience with power tool safety practices and proper handling of hand tools for fabrication and installation tasks. Knowledge of NFPA standards for fire protection systems as well as ASME codes & standards governing piping fabrication. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for system layout and installation purposes. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence during all phases of project execution. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions or system specifications. Familiarity with maintenance procedures for fire sprinkler systems post-installation to ensure ongoing compliance and functionality. Join us in delivering life-saving fire protection solutions! Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
