Job Summary Alarm Partners is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled technician with 3+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience who can perform installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, mechanically and technically inclined, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Experience with both fire alarm and security systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Install, service, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems Perform fire alarm inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot fire alarm and related system issues Perform repairs, replacements, and system modifications Assist with new fire alarm system installations and system start-ups Read and interpret wiring diagrams, system drawings, and technical documentation Ensure systems are operating properly and meet applicable requirements Maintain accurate service and inspection records Communicate professionally with customers and explain system issues and recommended repairs Follow company procedures and applicable fire alarm codes and standards Work independently in the field while also being part of a successful team

Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on fire alarm technician experience Experience with commercial fire alarm systems Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, service, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable fire alarm codes NICET certification is a plus Experience with security, burglar alarm, or other low-voltage systems is a plus Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team Clean background check and good driving record Ability to establish and maintain
