The Sprinkler Service Sr Technician is responsible for independently performing service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This position demonstrates strong technical competency, holds applicable licenses, and is capable of completing jobs independently. The Senior Technician may guide or support entry-level employees and contributes to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs. Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks. Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports. Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members. Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Travel to job sites as required. Other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician. NICET Level II or above preferred. Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes. Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. Performs other duties assigned by management.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments. Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
Pay:
To be discussed during interview. Weekly pay. Take home company vehicle.
