Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring life safety systems are working properly to detect and announce fires and/or trouble in all campus buildings. This is an essential position that may be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure.
Duties may include:
Ensure the proper operation of fire alarm systems Collect and maintain fire systems records and systems information Update and manage the university?s fire alarm system preventative maintenance schedules Install and maintain Campus Panic/Duress systems and CCTV systems Maintain and service campus fire extinguishers Other duties as assigned
