Full Job Description Experience:
servicing fire alarms: 2 years (Required) installing fire alarms: 2 years (Required) maintenance of fire alarms: 2 years (Required) Responsibilities Conduct field service inspections and assessments of existing fire alarm systems. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions. Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA 72 and other applicable codes. Use hand tools and power tools for system installation and repairs. Support the sales team by helping identify system upgrade opportunities and quoting small repairs. Troubleshoot system issues and implement effective, lasting solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and service reports. Manage your own service schedule and prioritize jobs to meet client and business needs. Follow quality control standards on every job to ensure systems perform reliably and pass inspection. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience building fire protection systems. Familiarity with NFPA 72 and other codes related to fire alarm and life safety systems. Experience servicing fire alarm and clean agent systems. Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interactions. Previous field service experience in fire protection preferred. NICET I certification in Fire Alarm and Special Hazard is a plus. Additional Requirements Must pass a background check and drug screening (including marijuana).
Pay:
$27.01 - $40.00 per hour
