Responsibilities:

Prepare project drawings, specifications, and schematics required to support the installation of fire sprinkler systems

Work towards verifying project requirements and coordinate with the Project Managers and Sales to ensure project design is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes

Learn to lay out sprinkler devices on basic designs

Understanding of NFPA codes

Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner

Open to continual learning

Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices

Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values

Any other duties deemed appropriate by management

Required:

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency working in

Microsoft Suite:

Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time

Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer
