In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing a wide range of security systems, including alarms, access control, CCTV, sensors, and low-voltage electrical wiring. Responsibilities Install electrical security systems such as alarms, access control panels, CCTV surveillance cameras, sensors, and fire alarm systems following schematics and technical drawings. Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling to connect security equipment accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair system issues related to equipment malfunction, wiring problems, or connectivity errors using hand tools and power tools. Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise system design and installation. Conduct system testing to verify proper operation of security components including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), surveillance cameras, remote access software, and lock mechanisms. Provide technical troubleshooting support to resolve onsite issues quickly while maintaining high customer service standards. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs, explain system features, and ensure seamless integration of door security systems and alarm & access control systems. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in electrical security system installation or related field service roles. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working with computer hardware, networking, and low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and interpret technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems, sensors, fire alarm systems, alarm & access control systems, and remote access software. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cable strippers, crimpers, and other installation equipment safely. Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and low-voltage electrical wiring practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical or system issues efficiently. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Physical ability to perform installations that require climbing ladders or working in confined spaces; comfortable working at heights when necessary.
