Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Alarm Systems Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a wide range of security and alarm systems, including fire alarms, CCTV surveillance, access control, and low-voltage electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure that clients' properties are protected with reliable, high-quality security solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Install electrical security systems such as alarm & access control systems, CCTV cameras, sensors, and fire alarm systems according to technical schematics and blueprints Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling, and equipment issues using hand tools and power tools Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints to ensure precise system installation Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify proper operation of security devices and network connectivity Provide technical troubleshooting support for system malfunctions or failures in the field Integrate door security systems with existing access control infrastructure and ensure seamless operation Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and deliver tailored solutions while maintaining excellent customer service Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in alarm systems or electronic security fields Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with power tools and low-voltage electrical wiring Familiarity with computer hardware, networking, remote access software, and telecommunication systems Knowledge of system design principles including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, CCTV surveillance, and fire alarm integration Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately Experience troubleshooting electrical security systems and conducting equipment diagnostics effectively Construction or telecommunications experience is a plus; valid NEC (National Electrical Code) knowledge preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Physical ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by installation sites An IT background will also be beneficial Join us if you're passionate about enhancing safety through innovative security solutions!
